NFMTC is governed by a Board of Directors. The Directors are comprised of representatives from the Fishing Industry Partners (those partners who hold quota in the waters adjacent to Nunavut), Nunavut Tunngavik Inc. and the Fisheries and Sealing Division of the Government of Nunavut – Department of Environment.
Meetings are held regularly and direction is given by the Board to the Executive Director who is then responsible for implementation of the Board’s decisions. The current Board of Directors is comprised of the following:
